The Planning Committee comprises all Councillors and makes decisions on planning applications for industry, business and residential property developments that are considered to be of significance to the community.

Planning Committee has the powers, duties and functions as set out in the Instrument of Delegation to the Planning Committee(PDF, 566KB) subject to the conditions and limitations specified in that Instrument.

Planning Committee Meetings are open to the public and conducted in accordance with the Council’s Governance Rules 2020(PDF, 965KB).

2025 Schedule

Planning Committee Meetings commence at 6.30pm (unless otherwise advised).

In person meetings will be held at Preston Council Chambers, First Floor, 350 High Street, Preston 3072 (unless otherwise advised)

Meetings will be hybrid mode (both physical and virtual attendance) unless otherwise stated in below.
