Reservoir Laneway Link and Activation

Are you an experienced mural artist looking for your next outdoor canvas? We're seeking expressions of interest to activate our spaces providing a safe route to school for students. 

Council, in partnership with Reservoir Primary School, would like to engage an artist or artist collective/s to co-design and co-install a mural in collaboration with a select group of up to twenty Year 3-6 students.

As part of the project deliverables, the selected artist will be required to conduct a design ideation workshop with the students at Reservoir Primary School. Demonstrated experience working with children to generate design ideas forms part of the selection criteria. 

The mural will be located on a wall along the laneway link between Kenilworth Street and Barton Street, Reservoir.

Council strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Expressions of interest must be submitted to Darebin City Council Place Leader, Marc Chung before Monday 21 April 2025, 11.59pm.
