The Economic Development team at Darebin Council has been working hard to develop a new Economic Framework to help guide Council on how we work with businesses, industry and partners to build a cohesive and clear economic direction for Darebin.

For the past 18 months, we have been engaging with businesses through face-to-face workshops and events as well as online engagements in order to better understand what the priorities and challenges are for businesses in Darebin, so that we can build a robust and considered Economic Strategy and Framework that benefits all businesses and sectors operating across Darebin.

Now, as we begin to finalise our Economic Framework and some of the projects we will look to deliver in the future, we want to understand if your business is experiencing changes in staffing and employment? Or, if your business is experiencing growth? And learn how you think doing business in Darebin can be made easier.

This is an important opportunity for you to contribute your voice and experience to the vital data we are gathering to help inform the work we will be delivering in 2025 and beyond.

Our survey will close on Sunday 16 March 2025 and the winner of our prize draw will be announced on Friday 21 March 2025.
