Darebin City Council's 2024 election results

The Victorian Electoral Commission has now officially declared the results of the Darebin City Council election.

The elected Councillors for the 2024-28 Council term are:

  • Kristine Olaris OAM, Central Ward
  • Vasilios Tsalkos, North Central Ward
  • Matt Arturi, North East Ward
  • Gaetano Greco, North West Ward (re-elected)
  • Ruth Jelley, South Central Ward
  • Emily Dimitriadis, South East Ward (re-elected)
  • Julie O'Brien, South Ward
  • Alexandra Sangster, South West Ward
  • Connie Boglis OAM, West Ward

The councillors-elect were officially sworn in on Wednesday 13 November.

The election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor will take place at a Special Council Meeting at 6pm on 25 November.

This meeting will be live-streamed and members of the public can attend in-person at the Preston Council Chambers.
