Have Your Say on the Darebin LGBTIQAplus Action Plan

The LGBTIQA+ Action Plan will support the inclusion, rights, and wellbeing of Darebin's LGBTIQA+ communities.

We want Darebin to be a safe and inclusive place for everyone. This is why we are developing an LGBTIQA+ Action Plan to deliver on Council’s commitment to create a safer and more welcoming Darebin for LGBTIQA+ community members.

We want to hear about your experiences here in Darebin.

What can we do to make Darebin a city that is inclusive and more accessible to work, study, play and live for LGBTIQA+ communities?

How can Darebin services, programs and facilities be more accessible for LGBTIQA+ communities, especially for trans and gender diverse, First Nations and culturally and linguistically diverse people?

What actions should we include in the LGBTIQA+ Action Plan to empower and improve outcomes for LGBTIQA+ communities and combat discrimination in everyday life and at the workplace?

What steps should Council and our partners consider to ensure the wellbeing, safety, inclusion and human rights of LGBTIQA+ community members in Darebin?

Share your thoughts with us on our Your Say page or come talk to us in-person in a safe and welcoming environment at our stalls at designated major LGBTIQA+ events. Our partnership with Victoria Police will ensure safety and security at these events.
