The Minister for Local Government, the Hon Melissa Horne MP, has extended the appointment of the two Municipal Monitors at Darebin City Council for a further six months.
Ms June Anstee and Mr Ross Millard will continue their appointment until 30 June 2025.
The Minister has noted that Darebin has made progress in improving its governance structures.
The extension of the Monitors will continue to support the organisation and work with new and returning councillors.
Darebin City Council looks forward to continuing to support the work of the Monitors.
