The Department of Transport and Planning, Yarra Trams and Darebin City Council are working together on the Transporting Arts pilot program. The program aims to enliven the community and passenger experience at transport hubs across Victoria, through public art installations by local artists.

Tram Stop 31 in Northcote, part of Melbourne's Route 86 tram line, has been selected as a location for an artwork installation.

We're looking for artists in Victoria (individuals, groups or collaborations) to submit an Expression of Interest for creative design artwork for this artistic installation.

We're looking for artwork that best represents the vibrant Northcote Town Hall Arts Centre precinct. Your finished artwork will be digitally reproduced on vinyl wraps and fixed onto Tram Stop 31.

How to apply

Submissions close Friday 23 August 2024.
