Saturday 2 September 2023, at the home of the Matildas, La Trobe University, 100 Kingsbury Drive, Bundoora.
Feeling inspired by the World Cup? Come along to the Women and Girls Football Extravaganza Day at the Home of the Matildas – La Trobe University Bundoora.
The day will include activities for women and girls of all ages and skill levels, and sessions will be run by expert coaches from local Darebin clubs - and it’ s all free!

GO Girls
GO Girls is designed for girls to experience, learn and practice football in an inclusive, fun, all-girl environment. No experience is necessary - this social format of the game can be played by girls with all levels of experience and all levels of fitness. Come along and learn many skills of the game you may never have thought possible, while having fun, forming friendships and being active.
Sessions
- Azaad Club Melbourne: 10am—10.45am
- Thornbury Athletic Football Club: 12 pm—12.45pm
- Keon Park Football Club: 1.30pm —2.15pm

GO Soccer Mums
GO Soccer Mums is an introductory football program designed specifically for women, where participants can have fun, meet new people, and learn basic football skills in a social, judgement-free environment. It's not just for mums - but for all women, from all walks of life! It doesn't matter if you've never kicked a football before - absolutely no experience in necessary - anybody can take part!
The Go Soccer Mums Cup will take place throughout the day. Games will consist of two 10 minute halves and will be run using the WF7s format with 7 players on the pitch at one time. Get your team together and register now!
