Do you live, work or play in Alphington, Bundoora, Fairfield, Macleod, Northcote East or Thornbury East?

It’s time to let us know on Your Street, Your Say – have we got the plan right?

We recently asked everyone in these areas about their experiences of walking, cycling, scooting, driving and playing in local streets.

Thanks to everyone who responded. We received more than 1,800 contributions which helped us understand key issues for the community. This information has contributed to finding the priority locations and designing draft concept plans for changes like pedestrian crossings, speed humps and reduced speed limits.

Some projects won't be started right away, but those not included now will be considered in the future through the Council’s annual budget process. This also allows us to pursue community grant opportunities as they arise.

So now we want to know, do you support the proposed projects? Do you have any concerns, or ideas to improve the proposed projects?

Your Street, Your Say is all about improving local streets and neighbourhoods for people who live, work, study, play or travel through Darebin, rolled out progressively across the municipality. Thank you for contributing and helping make Darebin a great place to live, work and play for everyone.
