For the seventh year, Council will fly the transgender flag above its 350 High St building this week in recognition of Trans Day of Visibility (31 March 2025).
By raising the transgender flag, Council is honouring the significant contributions made by trans, gender diverse and non-binary people daily in the Darebin community. We are making a clear and visible commitment to the safety, inclusion and wellbeing of trans people and their families.
Council is proud to celebrate and support our trans, gender diverse and non binary staff and community. You are seen, you are heard, and you are wonderful members of our organisation and community! We stand in solidarity with you.
