We pay our respects to Uncle Kevin Coombs
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags at Council sites and venues will be flown at half-mast from 9 - 16 October 2023 out of respect and to mark the passing of respected Elder Uncle Kevin Coombs.
Uncle Kevin Coombs OAM was a long-term Darebin resident and respected Wotjobaluk Aboriginal Elder of Melbourne.
He was a champion Olympic Paralympian basketballer and instrumental in establishing the Koori Courts system in Victoria, among a lifetime of great deeds and accomplishments.
