Council is notified of Change of Ownership by your legal representative.
If you do not have legal representation, download and print the Notice of Acquisition form and return it by email, fax or mail along with a copy of title.
When ownership of a property changes, the liability for payment of rates remains with the owner until we receive a Notice of Acquisition.
Land Information Certificates show information about a property's valuations, rates and arrears or interest if applicable. They are required for settlement when a property is sold.
