Darebin City Council offers a range of social connections designed to bring people together in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Subsidised fees apply for all programs.

A personalised care plan is developed to address individuals' interests and needs. Assistance with transport may be available.

Cost is $20 is per social group session per visit. Costs include morning tea and lunch.

Social outings

Join us for a variety of fun excursions, from popular historical sights, exhibitions, museums, gardens and mor. Some outings include morning tea and lunch.

Support for carers

Darebin's Positive Ageing Care Finder Team provides information about services for carers of older adults.

Carers can speak confidentially to a skilled officer about their needs or concerns. Call us on 03 8470 8543.

Who can access our social support groups?

A referral code for social support group via My Aged Care is required. To register with My Aged Care, please call 1800 200 422.
