Community engagement and participation in decision making and informing Council is critical. Find out the different ways we engage with our community.

Community engagement and participation

We consider engagement with you, our community, very important.

We provide a range of engagement and participation opportunities. Through these, you can support us in decision-making and information sharing.

Community members can participate in:

  • the Darebin Disability Advisory Committee - the Committee advises Council on issues relating to access and inclusion for people with lived experience of disability, their carers and service providers (community representatives on the committee live, work, study or visit Darebin)
  • issue-based specific working groups that are working on different projects, and
  • feedback to projects listed on the Your Say Darebin website.
