Aia’s Meadow

Aia’s Meadow is a community space created in the memory of Aia Maasarwe.

The space was designed in close collaboration with the Maasarwe family, who hope it will become a place of peace.

Council engaged award-winning design practice SBLA Studio in collaboration with artist Rachel Derum to design and fabricate Aia’s Meadow.

The space is now open, and we are working closely with the Maasarwe family to arrange a statement in memory of Aia.

Project Rozana

Project Rozana has partnered with Aia’s family to launch the Aiia Maasarwe Memorial Medical Fellowship Program. The fellowship program was created to honour Aia’s memory and to use it as a way to build professional relationships between Palestinian and Israeli healthcare workers for the benefit of both communities.

For more information about Project Rozana and the Fellowship Program, visit Project Rozana’s website.
