Education programs

Our education programs include hands-on animal activities, sustainability, gardening, crafting and history.

Conducted by experienced teaching staff who support and look out for the needs of teachers and students, our education programs involve a range of activities that can be tailored to meet your needs. Programs for tertiary and disability groups are available on request.

Animal meet and greet

For shorter visits, this 90-minute program lets children interact with farm animals both big and small.

Down on the farm

This hands-on program allows children to interact with a variety of farm animals with the guidance of an experienced educator.

Exploring the past

Experience history and explore the life of a child living on a farm in the early 20th century, from the household chores to the printer's workshop.

From farm to table

Uncover the origins and journeys of your favourite foods, with guided, hands-on learning for the garden, farm and kitchen.

Going green on the farm

A guided farm tour and discussion about sustainable farming, waste reduction, composting, worm farms and planting.

What do living things need?

This hands-on education program demonstrates how animals have basic survival needs with the presence of live animals in their environments.
