National Volunteer Week is Australia's largest annual celebration of volunteering.

Established in 1989, this special event highlights the important role volunteers play in our society. It is also an opportunity to invite people not currently volunteering to give it a go. Whether you're drawn to environmental causes, community development, education, sport, healthcare or beyond, there's a volunteering opportunity for you.

Watch our volunteers telling their stories in this short video where Darebin celebrates National Volunteer Week.
