This is a great session to do if you are thinking about joining in the upcoming iNaturalist city nature challenge, but are unsure how to use the iNaturalist app.
Here’s what’s in store:
- Learn to Use iNaturalist: We’ll show you how to snap photos on your big person's phone, and record your awesome nature finds!
- Explore the Wetlands: Take a fun walk through Dole Reserve Wetland to discover the amazing plants and animals that call it home.
- Draw your most exciting findings.
- Be a Biodiversity Hero: Join kids around the world in this exciting challenge to help scientists learn more about nature.
Get Ready:
- Download the iNaturalist App: We suggest downloading it before the event onto an adults phone, and signing up for a free iNaturalist account.
- Dress for Adventure: Wear sturdy shoes for walking on uneven ground, be sun smart, and bring a water bottle.
- Make sure your phone is fully charged for snapping pics!
After our adventure, you’ll be ready to keep exploring and recording the incredible wildlife in Darebin and beyond.
