Find important details below on how, when and where to place your hard waste for collection.

Hard waste collection guidelines

To ensure we collect your hard rubbish, please follow these guidelines:

  • A maximum of two (2) cubic metres can be placed out for collection
  • Any materials over two (2) cubic metres will not be collected 
  • Two people must easily lift all items and no longer or wider than 1.5m
  • The below items need to be placed in four (4) separate piles to be recycled:
    • Beds and mattresses
    • Car tyres
    • Electronic waste
    • Metals
  • Place all other items in a neat, separate pile to be collected
  • Hard waste items can be placed neatly on your nature strip, the weekend before your collection week
  • All items must be out by 6am on the Monday morning of your collection week

Note, that your items may not be collected on the same day during your collection week. Separate trucks are used to collect different items. Items placed out late will not be collected.
